Hello Barterers!

We're off to an amazing start, with almost 100 individuals now bartering! Below are a few helpful tips to help facilitate your trades. Happy Bartering, and I hope to see many of you at our in-person barter event on Monday, November 28th!

1. In addition to posting what you have to barter, post what you would like to receive in trade as well. This may help people know that you're interested in what they have!

2. Post pictures! There are lots of visual people out there. Posting pictures of your barter wares makes them more attractive.

3. Once you've traded your barter goods, make sure to edit the subject of your post to let people know that the items have been taken.

4. Check your profile regularly to keep the discussion lively.

5. Utilize our groups for discussions. The groups are great places to discuss topics like keeping bees, to look for people to water your garden when you're on vacation and to share gardening tips. Use the groups we've created, or create your own!
